The Orchid Show in New York City Botanic Garden: A Celebration of Floral Beauty (April 12, 2025) 纽约市植物园兰花展：花卉之美的庆典（2025 年 4 月 12 日）

This is the signature event at the New York Botanical Garden this spring. The full name of the show is The Orchid Show: Mexican Modernism. The title comes from the fusion of orchid displays with the bold, colorful aesthetic of Mexican modernist architect Luis Barragán.

As soon as I stepped into the conservatory where the show is held, I immediately felt like I had entered a tropical paradise. Thousands of vibrant blooms line the winding paths throughout the conservatory, artfully arranged to evoke a wide array of diverse ecosystems. Each orchid is accompanied by a tag introducing its species. I had never seen so many different kinds of orchids before and was truly astonished by their indescribable beauty. I instantly found myself immersed in the marvelous atmosphere.

Even though it was a weekday, there was still a crowd of visitors—people of all ages came to enjoy the show, including groups of younger students guided by their teachers. Witnessing such a stunning floral display, along with the excitement and curiosity of the children, filled me with a sense of joy and reminded me of how beautiful the world can be.
